As schools and further education have become IT-reliant operations, the importance of strong technology partners has become vital. By applying commercial principles we aim to ensure top performance, real value and significant cost savings for the education IT infrastructure.

Our involvement can range from the entire IT provision management (including the necessary staff) down to one off installation solutions (e.g. Application servers for a thin client suite).

Apple Installation and Integration

Apple's suite of multimedia applications allows the user to collect, organise and edit almost any digital material. In addition, the native multimedia capabilities have been shown to benefit 'teaching and learning' in the classroom. Research has suggested an increased student motivation can be attributed to the new audience beyond the teaching staff (i.e. podcasts, film media and music production).

With over 15 years of experience in the installation and administration of Apple hardware and operating systems, EVAK Technologies are well placed to meet the aims of a standalone network or integration with an existing legacy network.

Thin Client

Thin client technology can provide lower costs per terminal, greater reliability, cooler working environments and consistent software applications across your network. We specialise in the cost effective installation (e.g. the re-use of redundant PC's), integration and management of partial or school wide thin client deployments.

Application Training

We currently offer a small spread of specific courses to business and education. For education, we train teaching staff in media production using Apple hardware and software, including iLife '08, iWorks '08 and Logic Pro/Express. Our education training aims to provide a confidence in the software's abilities to enhance teaching and learning.
